Mombasa 1/2 Day City Tour |
WALKING SAFARIS Walking safaris can be one of the most exciting tours one can ever participate in. Try out a guided walking safari and enter
the world of the big game on their terms. Tracking the spoor and identifying
paw prints, stalking through grass, checking the wind direction as you
inch even closer to the wildlife. Nothing can prepare you for a close
encounter of the wild kind with an elephant. Lion or buffalo an experience
that you will never forget. Day 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara Drive through rich Kikuyu farmland to the
edge of Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai
Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. On arrival in the Mara
proceed for an afternoon game drive. Day 2 Masai Mara An early morning game drive gives us the
opportunity to catch up with the predators before they retire in the thickets
for the day. Back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast Proceed for
a 2-3 hour walking safari along small river course and through the savannah
for wildlife viewing with the Maasai as guides and interpreters of their
land. You can take a refreshing dip in a swimming hole and walk amongst
giraffe, impala, zebra and wildebeest. Lunch at the camp. Free afternoon. After an early breakfast proceed for a morning hike to the summit of the Naunare hills guided by a local Maasai warrior. Descend and continue for a game drive. Return to the camp for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Springs Safari Camp. Day 4: Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru National Park Early breakfast, leave camp and proceed
to Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. 1600hrs afternoon
game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for the world's greatest spectre of
more than one million flamingos, also known for more than 450 species
of birds. It's also rich in wildlife. Day 5 Lake Nakuru/ Nairobi After breakfast drive back to Nairobi stopping at the Great Rift Valley View Point. Arrive early afternoon.
